As seen in
There are moments in business that make you stop and check your screen twice. Seeing Keto Kitchen Lytham featured in British Vogue was exactly one of those moments.
This is a throwback to that feature, using the archived version of the original article as the reference point: https://web.archive.org/web/20241226123757/https://www.vogue.co.uk/arts-and-lifestyle/gallery/best-meal-delivery-services
In that 2024 version, the list had 26 companies, and we were included for our fresh, low-carb, and gluten-free expertise.
British Vogue refreshed it for 2025 and we still featured however in 2026 it’s now down to just 10 companies, and we didn’t make the updated cut.
At the time, we were just doing what we loved: cooking real food for people who wanted to feel better.
To find ourselves in the "Fashion Bible" was a massive nod of approval. It wasn't just about the publicity. It was proof that a small, family-run kitchen from Lytham could sit alongside the bigger names.
British Vogue described us as a service that "specialises in low-carb meal plans to help you hit your goals".
They also called out the style of the food, mentioning "fresh, protein-packed plates". The examples they gave included salmon and curried vegetables, which is exactly the sort of simple, filling food many people want when carbs are kept low.
That bit mattered, because it showed they understood the hard graft of eating this way. You want meals that work for keto, without spending your evenings weighing ingredients and doing the sums.
They even mentioned some of the pantry fillers you can add on, like dressings, edamame fettuccine, and black bean spaghetti.
Vogue also liked that there was no subscription required, and highlighted our range of treats and cakes. It was a nice moment, because it reflected how we think about real life: you want the convenience, but you also want a bit of flexibility.

The biggest change is the list itself.
It also looks like the 2026 refresh has largely ignored specialised diets like keto and gluten-free. The focus now leans more towards generic services, including more frozen-style options and recipe boxes.
That’s not what we do.
If you’ve ever tried a recipe box, you’ll know it still needs time, prep, and a bit of headspace. If you’ve tried frozen meals, you’ll know quality can vary a lot.
Keto Kitchen Lytham is neither.
That difference matters most on the weeks where you want things to feel easier, not more complicated.
We’re not going to pretend we are currently Vogue-recommended. It was a moment in time, and we’re still proud of it.
Big lists can get smaller and more generic. We’ve stayed focused on what actually helps you stick with low-carb living.
What hasn’t changed is what you actually get when you order.
If you want to judge us now, the simplest way is to check our current menu and our reviews, then decide if it fits your life.

Vogue picked up on the fact that our food actually tastes like food. It sounds like a simple thing, but in the world of keto, it's actually quite rare.
For years, low-carb options were synonymous with "cardboard." Dry crackers, tasteless shakes, and rubbery bread were the norm. We made it our mission to change that.
Whether it's our freshly baked keto lasagne or our range of artisan keto sauces, we prioritise flavour. We use real butter, fresh herbs, and quality proteins.
That’s why people stay with us for years, not just weeks. They don't feel like they are "on a diet." They feel like they are eating well.
Since the Vogue feature, one of our biggest areas of growth has been our bakery. We realised early on that if you can't have a treat, you won't stick to a lifestyle.
We spent months perfecting recipes that defy the logic of low-carb baking. The result was some of the best gluten-free keto cakes UK customers have ever tasted.
We’ve written a whole piece on how we beat the cardboard keto curse, and it's something we are incredibly proud of. Our cakes are now a staple in many of our customers' weekly orders.

While we loved the Vogue feature, our proudest moments come from our customers. The success stories we hear every day are what keep the kitchen running.
We see people regaining their energy, losing weight they thought was permanent, and finally feeling in control of their hunger. This isn't just about looking good in a magazine. It's about how you feel when you wake up in the morning.
For many of our customers, especially those who are approaching retirement or managing health changes, the convenience of our service is a game-changer. It removes the stress of meal planning and cooking when you simply can't be bothered.
The world of British Vogue has changed. Print issues are fewer, and the "gatekeepers" of fashion have shifted. But the desire for high-quality, healthy food has only grown.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve. Whether it's researching the latest in keto science or finding new ways to support those on GLP-1 medications, we are always moving forward.
We still offer the same luxury service that caught the eye of those editors years ago. Freshly prepared, calorie-counted, and delivered with care.

Is your food still made in Lytham St Annes?
Yes. Every single meal is prepared by our team in our professional kitchen in Lytham. We haven't outsourced our cooking to a large factory.
Do you deliver to my area?
We offer delivery across the mainland UK. Our meals are packed in temperature-controlled boxes to ensure they arrive fresh at your doorstep.
How many carbs are in the meals?
Every meal we produce is designed to fit within a ketogenic lifestyle. Each portion contains under 20g of carbs, making it easy to stay on track without doing the math yourself.
Are the meals suitable for gluten-free diets?
Almost everything we do is gluten-free. We focus on whole foods and avoid the fillers found in standard processed meals.
If you remember the British Vogue list, you’ll know why it meant a lot to us at the time. The list has been refreshed for 2026 and we were not included this year, but we’re still here doing the same work, quietly and consistently.
If you are new to this way of eating, our beginner's guide to keto is a great place to start. If you’re ready to keep things simple, you can browse our current menu and check our reviews instead of chasing magazine lists.
